Every dancer, family, teacher, and studio owner has limits on how much time, energy, and money they can put towards the dance experience.
Having limits doesn’t mean dance matters any less to them. It simply means they have to decide which opportunities they can realistically take part in.
When we produce an event, some expenses are necessary and some are choices. Every expense we add affects both what the event costs to produce and, ultimately, what it costs the people who want to be there.
All of that makes one question especially important: Is this expense adding enough value to the experience to justify what it costs the people who want to be there?
That is something Taplife Hero Foundation considers with every event we produce.
With LIT 🔥 Tap Dance Experience, we put that thinking into practice by focusing our resources on the parts of the experience we believe can have the greatest impact, while reducing the expenses that don’t necessarily add meaningful value to the core experience.
Being thoughtful about production costs can make it more affordable for people to attend. That means more people getting to learn, perform, connect, and join the community we’re building together.
Affordability, to us, isn’t about making the experience smaller. It’s about being more intentional about what we ask people to invest in order to participate, while respecting their limits.
Great experiences should not cost more than they have to.
If that resonates with you, we’d love for you to join us.
Registration is now open for LIT 🔥 Tap Dance Experience in New Jersey and North Carolina.
We’re also continuing to work through the details required to bring LIT to New York and Connecticut.
