It's ready to go!

Our maintenance team spent the last number of months preparing this LongRanger for service in Papua New Guinea. With the prep work finished, the machine is now disassembled and being packed in a shipping container for delivery to its new home across the ocean.

Praise God for this provision of the aircraft and the skill and hard work of the Waxhaw maintenance team in preparing it for our team in PNG. Please pray for safe passage for the machine. Thank you!

Praise:
We arrived safely with all our luggage.
We were warmly welcomed by the AIM Air team.
We have a great living situation that accommodates the team well.
Everyone has been healthy thus far, seems to be adjusting well to the new time zone, and is beginning to establish healthy routines.

Pray:
Various team members have had difficulty accessing the commonly used mobile pay system.
Traffic is crazy! Pray for safety as the team commutes to the hangar and as Missy uses Uber to do the shopping.
There are some big challenges ahead as the team begins working on the Caravan. Wisdom is needed as we explore options and solutions.

A week ago today, the JAARS team headed to Kenya. Now, just seven days later, they’re hard at work alongside the team, putting a Cessna Caravan back together and closer to getting this important aircraft back in the air.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, so please keep praying for our team—for good health, safety, endurance, and the skill and focus needed to complete the job. And pray that this Caravan will soon be back in service, helping AIM AIR support ministry across East Africa.

Our aviation maintenance team in Kenya sure appreciates your prayers for them! They've started getting oriented to AIMAir's ops in Nairobi and will begin work soon. As you can see, reassembling the Caravan is a going to be a big job. Regardless, they're glad to be there to help our aviation partner, AIMAir. Thank you for praying!
