This week’s meeting was a special one as we had the honor of promoting Cpl. Magill to the rank of Sergeant and Cadet Still to the rank of Corporal.

Sgt. Magill has consistently demostrated strong leaderships, dedication, and a willingness to always step up and help wherever is needed

Their commitment to the Cadet program, their positive attitudes, and continued development as a leaders, have earned them these well-deserved promotions.

The Waxhaw Police Cadets had a great time participating in the 10th annual Waxhaw Back to School Bash!

Our Cadets enjoyed being out in the community, interacting with families, and supporting an event that brings the community together as the students prepare for another school year.

This event allows the cadets to get involved in the community while continuing to build leadership, teamwork, communication, and service skills.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Back to School Bash a great event! We wish all students, teachers, School Resource Officers, and families a safe and successful school year! 📚✏️

This week's meeting focused on physical training (PT). Cadets ran laps, completed a warm-up, and then participated in team sports and fitness activities. PT helps build physical fitness while developing teamwork, leadership, and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, the Waxhaw Police Cadets remember the heroes who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who served with selfless bravery.

Are you interested in law enforcement, leadership, teamwork, and serving your community? The Waxhaw Police Cadets program is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships while working alongside local officers and community members.

Cadets have the opportunity to: • Participate in community events
• Learn about law enforcement careers
• Develop leadership and communication skills
• Take part in training activities and team-building exercises
• Give back to the community through volunteer service
