Waxhaw Police Cadets Meetings are every Wednesday Night @ 6:30pm at the Waxhaw Police Department

The Waxhaw Police Cadets are a hands-on program open to young men and women who are between the age of 12 and 20, interested in a career of law enforcement or related field.

This Memorial Day, the Waxhaw Police Cadets remember the heroes who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who served with selfless bravery.

🚔 Join the Waxhaw Police Cadets! 🚔

Are you interested in law enforcement, leadership, teamwork, and serving your community? The Waxhaw Police Cadets program is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships while working alongside local officers and community members.

Cadets have the opportunity to: • Participate in community events
• Learn about law enforcement careers
• Develop leadership and communication skills
• Take part in training activities and team-building exercises
• Give back to the community through volunteer service

If you are between the ages of 12–20 and looking for a rewarding experience, we would love to have you join our team!

Interested in joining the Waxhaw Police Cadets?

The Cadet Program gives young people the opportunity to learn about policing, leadership, teamwork, life skills, community service, and public safety through hands-on experiences and training alongside officers. Whether you’re considering a future career in law enforcement or want to build confidence and life skills and improve your leadership skills, this is a great opportunity to get involved.

Cadets participate in: • Community events
• Team-building activities
• Leadership development
• Training exercises
• Volunteer opportunities
• Ride-alongs and more

If you’re motivated, responsible, and ready to make a difference in the community, we’d love to have you join us! Our meetings are every Wednesday night from 6:30pm to 9pm at The Waxhaw Police Department. Except we will not be having a meeting again until May 20th.
