Waxhaw Scout Troop 53 Our vision is to prepare people for life. This will give everyone the opportunity to get Eagle. Welcome to Waxhaw's ACTION Boy Scout Troop!

We will do this by teaching them listening and teaching skills, survival skills, finance skills, backpacking skills, and first aid skills.

Fly the United States Flags at Half-Staff on Wed, September 11, 2024

Patriot Day 2024

Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 marks the 23 year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed in suburban Pennsylvania. Patriot Day serves as a remembrance of the lives lost on that September morning.

By a joint resolution approved 12/18/2001, (Public Law 107-89) has designated September 11th of each year as "Patriot Day" which also directs the flags be lowered to half-staff for the entire day on September 11.

Thank you to all the scouts, family members and church members that helped with Zane's Eagle Project yesterday! We planted 7 trees, 19 shrubs and cleared a walking path around part of the perimeter of our church.
