💙⚽ Happy Parent Appreciation Day! ⚽💙

Behind every practice, every game, every muddy pair of cleats, and every celebration is a parent making it all possible.

As USWNT legend Carli Lloyd said:

“Nobody has done more for me than my parents… I never would have gotten anywhere near a World Cup, an Olympics, or even the U.S. National Team without them.”

That sentiment rings true for athletes at every level. Whether it’s early morning practices, long tournament weekends, endless car rides, words of encouragement, or simply believing in your child when they need it most—your sacrifices help build not only better soccer players, but confident, resilient young people.

To every parent in the Waxhaw Soccer Club family: thank you for the countless hours and unwavering support you give our athletes every day. Our players’ journey wouldn’t be possible without you.

Today, we celebrate you. 💙🤍
