Waxhaw Athletic Association is an all volunteer, non profit organization serving young athletes and their families since 1985. It has since grown to become a multi-sport professional athletic organization offering Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Flag Football to name a few. We serve athletes ages 3-18 every year and our families come from communities within Union County, South Charlotte, a
nd bordering South Carolina. As an all-volunteer organization, we promote parent and community involvement. Many of our coaches are parents who have played competitive sports, have a strong knowledge of the game and want to share their experience through coaching a team. We provide coaching clinics and curricula to support each level of instruction. We invest annually in our fields and facilities to ensure that they are up to standard and safe for play. OUR MISSION
To serve families & our growing community by providing our young athletes with:
• a positive learning experience that builds skills & confidence in a fun, safe & supportive environment;
• a knowledge of the game & progressive, professional instruction that develops both individual & team performance;
• a sense of community fostering good sportsmanship & teamwork while promoting parent & community/sponsor involvement.
