We have an urgent need for food for our pantry. With the cost of everything so high right now we are feeding even more families than usual.
We need:
Cereal
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Beans
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Grits
Oatmeal
Canned Fruits
Canned Vegetables
Macaroni and cheese

If you are able to help, you can drop off at Sweet Repeats located at 615 W South Main St. The hours are Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm.

We still have over 60 kids that are needing sponsors for our Christmas Outreach Party. If you are interested in sponsoring if you could message us, I can send you a child’s list over.
If you want to help, but you’re unable to sponsor a child, you could bring in a brand new toy and we can wrap them and give them to kids .
Also, we need Dollar Tree red and white plastic tablecloths, plastic ware, cups, and disposable plates.

It's that time of year where we start preparing for Christmas for all of the kids in our Outreach program. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, we tried to list our most asked questions below.
When sponsoring a child, we ask that you commit to the following.
1) Each child has 10 presents to open. These do not have to be expensive gifts at all (i.e. socks, nail polish, clothing, coloring books, etc) We do this so that every kid has the same amount of gifts to open.
2) You supply a filled stocking to accompany their gifts. Again, can be filled with small items like toothbrush, crayons, etc.
3) The gifts would need to be individually wrapped and the child's name and family # is on each gift.
4) Please bag your gifts and filled stocking in one of the large plastic Christmas gift sacks (from the Dollar Tree is fine) and attach the child's name and family # on the tag.
5) All sacks would be dropped off at Sweet Repeats between 12/15/25 – 12/17/25.
There is no required dollar amount to sponsor a child.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Thank you so much to the Lawson Community for their huge donation to our food pantry during their Turkey Trot this morning!!!
You guys filled up an entire truck bed!!
Neighbors helping neighbors is what the Waxhaws Ray of Hope is all about!!

Thank you to everyone that has reached out so far about wanting to sponsor a child for Christmas! We are entering all of the list this week so that we can send those out to those wanting to sponsor hopefully next week.
We are in need of plastic tablecloths from the Dollar tree (10 red, 10 white), disposable plates, and utensils, and the large plastic gift bags also from the Dollar Tree.
Any donated items can be dropped off at Sweet Repeats in downtown Waxhaw . Thank you all so much!

We are desperately in need of food for our pantry. We are feeding more families than ever. With kids home from school, those that had been getting free lunch are going hungry. If you are able to help, food items can be dropped off at Sweet Repears located at 615 W South Main Street Waxhaw.

Needed items are:
Pasta Sauce
Pasta Noodles
Canned chicken
Peanut butter
Jelly
Chef Boyardee Items (spaghetti, ravioli, etc)
Instant Grits
Cereals (Fruit Loops, Apple Jacks, etc)
Canned Fruits
Canned Soups

Every little bit helps. Together we can continue helping feed our neighbors.
