💙⚽ Happy Parent Appreciation Day! ⚽💙

Behind every practice, every game, every muddy pair of cleats, and every celebration is a parent making it all possible.

As USWNT legend Carli Lloyd said:

“Nobody has done more for me than my parents… I never would have gotten anywhere near a World Cup, an Olympics, or even the U.S. National Team without them.”

That sentiment rings true for athletes at every level. Whether it’s early morning practices, long tournament weekends, endless car rides, words of encouragement, or simply believing in your child when they need it most—your sacrifices help build not only better soccer players, but confident, resilient young people.

☀️⚽ Summer Youth Academy Camp Wrap-Up! ⚽☀️

What a fantastic few days we had at our Summer Youth Academy Camp! It was great to see so many players out on the field developing their skills, making new friends, and most importantly, having fun.

A huge thank you goes to Coach Erik Imler, our Director of Academy, who always knows how to create an exciting, positive, and engaging environment, even in the summer sun!

A special shout-out also goes to Coach Will for helping run another outstanding camp. We received so much positive feedback from players and parents, and it's easy to see why. Your enthusiasm, energy, and dedication made for an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to all of the players and families who joined us, we hope you had as much fun as we did!

We can't wait to see everyone back out on the field again soon! 💙⚽

🥇🧤 Congratulations to Our Golden Glove Award Winners! 🧤🥇

What an incredible week at our first ever Waxhaw Soccer Club Goalkeeper Camp! We had over 30 goalkeepers join us across all levels — Beginner, Mid-Level, and Elite — bringing energy, commitment, and a passion for improving their goalkeeping skills.

As part of the camp experience, our coaches recognized three outstanding goalkeepers with the Golden Glove Award — one winner from each training group. These players were selected for their hard work, attitude, improvement, effort, and dedication throughout the week.

🏆 Elite Group: Meyer Wolfe Wiedermann

Each of these goalkeepers demonstrated what it means to be a great teammate, embrace coaching, and continue striving to be their best between the posts.

A huge thank you to all of our goalkeepers, families, and especially Coach Nate, our Director of Goalkeeping, for making this camp such a success. We are already looking forward to seeing these players continue to grow and develop!

⚽🧤 Our First Ever Goalkeeper Summer Camp Was a Huge Success! 🧤⚽

This week, Waxhaw Soccer Club proudly hosted our first-ever Goalkeeper Summer Camp, and what an incredible experience it turned out to be!

Over 30 goalkeepers joined us across our Beginner, Mid-Level, and Elite training groups, all eager to develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game from a goalkeeper's perspective.

A huge thank you goes to Coach Nate Mangione , our Director of Goalkeeping, for delivering an outstanding camp experience and creating an environment where every goalkeeper could learn, challenge themselves, and have fun.

What made this camp even more special was the variety of participants. While many goalkeepers came from within the Waxhaw Soccer Club family, we were also thrilled to welcome players from several other local clubs who joined us for the week. It was fantastic to see so many young athletes coming together with a shared passion for goalkeeping.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and due to the strong turnout and popular demand, we are already exploring the possibility of running another Goalkeeper Camp in the near future!

Thank you to all of the players, families, and coaches who helped make this event such a success. We can't wait to do it again!
