Waxhaw Community Theatre’s Two Week Summer Camp brings theatre skills, teamwork, creativity, and performance fun together through MTI’s Broadway Junior R***e: Pure Imagination. Camp runs July 27–August 7, Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm, directed by Zach Jones.

The entire Waxhaw Community Theatre family extends our deepest condolences to the family of Gay McCoy Clyburn and to our friends at Union County Playmakers during this difficult time.

Gay’s impact on the theatre community was immeasurable. Her passion, talent, leadership, and dedication to the arts helped shape generations of performers, volunteers, and theatre lovers throughout our community.

We are grateful for all the support she gave to WCT as we work on growing and for the countless memories she helped create.

Our hearts are with her loved ones, friends, castmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working beside her.

The stage may dim, but her influence will never fade.
