Love Your Neighbor serves our community through outreach, connection, and their mobile food trailer, providing free meals and creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Their work reminds us that mental wellness is connected to our basic needs, our relationships, and our sense of belonging.

Thank you, Love Your Neighbor, for being part of The Check-In and for showing what community care looks like in action.

💜 Thank you to Parkland Health’s Victim Intervention Program (VIP) and R**e Crisis Center for joining us at The Check-In Community Mental Health Fair.

VIP provides trauma-informed support, advocacy, counseling, education, and outreach services for survivors of violence and abuse, including domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking, hate crimes, and more.

Their team helps individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments while reminding survivors that healing, support, and hope are possible.

We are grateful they shared these important resources with our community and helped raise awareness about services that can truly change lives.

A heartfelt thank you to Melissa Franks-Kirkland and Blue Magpie Conflict Management for joining us at The Check-In Community Mental Health Fair. 💙

Mental wellness isn’t only about managing stress or accessing services—it’s also about how we navigate relationships, emotions, conflict, and life’s challenges. Melissa shared valuable insights on emotional regulation, conflict navigation, and building healthier communication skills that can strengthen both personal and professional relationships.

We’re grateful for the knowledge, perspective, and resources she brought to our community and for helping attendees explore another important aspect of overall wellness.

Thank you for being part of our inaugural event and helping make The Check-In a meaningful experience for all who attended.

Texas Health and Human Services provided valuable information about healthcare coverage, benefits, and resources available to individuals and families throughout our community. Access to care starts with access to information, and they helped attendees better understand the programs and support available to them.

We appreciate their commitment to serving Texans and helping connect people with the resources they need to thrive.

A big thank you to Texas Health and Human Services for joining us at The Check-In Community Mental Health Fair. 💙
