We're beyond proud of our community for stepping up and supporting the Waxahachie Education Foundation so we can invest back into our teachers with grants that make innovative learning possible! Waxahachie, THANK YOU! You showed up for our WISD students and educators last night raising over $200,000! Our 4th Annual Education Foundation Gala, A Derby Affair was nothing short of a success!

This kind of support and investment doesn’t happen without the community coming together. Thank you to our board, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who attended the event last night!

We can’t wait to see the opportunities these funds bring to the 2026-2027 school year & we’re looking forward to celebrating with you all next year! 🏇🎉👏💐

What a night at the 2026 Tradition of Excellence Gala: A Derby Affair. 💚💙

Last night will go down in the record books as a championship run with more than $200,000 raised in support of Waxahachie ISD students and teachers. From the starting gate to the final stretch, the generosity, energy, and heart in the room were nothing short of spectacular.

To our incredible board, volunteers, donors, sponsors, partners, and community… thank you for helping us cross the finish line in such a BIG way. This night would not be possible without each and every one of you.

At the end of the day, every dollar raised is for the future of our incredible students and the educators who help champion them every single day.

Waxahachie, thank you for always showing up for our schools. What a winning night for WISD. 🐎 We sure set the “Golden Tempo” for the future for our students and educators! 🏆
