I’m so grateful for the opportunity of working with you. It’s been an amazing experience! I know you will continue the fight and I wish you great success in all your future endeavors! Miss you!
After the 2018 election, Allison Campolo saw the need for an organization in Tarrant County focused on voter registration and engagement. She pulled a group of former candidates and campaign staff together around a table to talk about the work needed to flip Tarrant County blue and ensure all people are represented by our government. Tarrant Together was born around that table and since that day Allison has led the charge as our President, inspiring our staff, board, and volunteers to continue the hard work of educating and registering voters throughout the county.
Earlier this week, our Democratic party chair, Deborah Peoples, announced that she will be stepping down to focus on her mayoral election and pass the torch to the next generation. In response to that announcement, Allison has resigned from the board of Tarrant Together and will be pursuing a run for party chair.
We are thrilled that our fearless leader will be taking on such an important challenge and we are excited to see what’s next. Allison, THANK YOU. Thank you for everything you do for this county. Your work is life changing for so many.
So that we can continue our work, Jana Lynne Sanchez will be re-joining the board of Tarrant Together as Interim President. We are excited to welcome Jana back to the team!
Thank you to everyone for your support over the last 3 years. We have so much still left to do here in Tarrant County, starting with the upcoming runoff election on June 5th for local municipal seats. This is our chance to begin changing the face of politics in Tarrant County and your vote matters more than it ever has. See you at the polls on June 5th.
