It was a week filled with extreme heat, then rain, cold, and wind, but above all we had a blast! They made new friends, earned merit badges, and overcame fears and obstacles. We are so proud of the Troop 55G girls and all they accomplished at summer camp this week.

Troop 55G Scoutmaster Aaron Olson was presented with the 2024 River Valley Outstanding Scoutmaster Award tonight. He has been very generous in sharing his love of Scouts and the lessons he's learned over the years. We are thankful for all you do!

Aaron makes Scouts more fun by bringing great energy to the troop meetings.

He is smart and kind to us.

Aaron makes campouts fun for us. When it comes to scouting skills, he takes the extra time needed for us to learn the skill. I feel more comfortable in my abilities.

It's been so much fun learning and experiencing all the fun things in scouting, especially with you as our Scoutmaster.

Aaron is very patient with us, even when we get a little over excited. He's nice and fun and always willing to help us be better Scouts. He's a really great Scoutmaster and I'm glad he's ours.

He's a great teacher and is very patient. He lets the scouts practice what they've learned and is always ready to jump in where needed. We've gotten to do some really fun things together through Scouts BSA. I'm glad he is my dad and my Scoutmaster.

Troop 55 B&G put their winter camping skills to the test this past weekend. The group earned their Level 1 Red Flannel and endured temps down to 11 degrees. We hiked, practiced catapillaring, sawed/chopped wood, outdoor cooking, and still has plenty of time for games and fun. It was a great time!

Jilly and I made it safely through the fog last night. Camping inside the cave this weekend with troops 55 and 55g!!

The Troop had a blast today getting some end of year ice skating in!

Troop 55 G had an incredible time this weekend touring and spending the night on the U.S.S. Cobia, a WWII submarine. It was such a unique experience and the girls had a blast!
