Hurricane Isaias Update 3:

This is a news report about Voyage Church who we are partnering with. On Sunday morning the pastor knew they wanted to serve their community but they only had 4 cases of water.

Then he received a text message from one of his members who is a friend of one of our volunteers, Dan who is with Chad. This church member and Dan had not seen each other in 35 years. This church member told the pastor about a ministry from Georgia looking for a church they could help.

The pastor called Chad and within an hour we dropped off 20 cabinets full of food, supplies, 35 pounds of WakeUp Honduran coffee, 52 Firman generators, a case of Weeks Honey, a pallet of water and a pallet of drinks. The pastor had no idea that we had been praying for just the right opportunity to set up a church to serve since last year’s storm season.

Hurricane Isaias Update 2:

The guys delivered the cabinets of supplies, generators, and gasoline to Voyage Church in Milton,Fl and will be back over tomorrow to bring more fuel.

This was one of the hardest hit areas of the storm. This is helping the church get set up to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their community.

They have already delivered generators to some with medical devices and will continue to do more of that in the coming days. Please continue to pray for the areas affected from the storm and that the gospel is spread through this difficult time.

Update: we have made contact with this church! Thank y’all!

We are looking for a contact for Destiny Worship Center in Fort Walton Beach or Destin. If anyone has a cell number for one of the pastors or someone affiliated with that church, please let us know. We are currently about 30 minutes away from the Fort Walton/Destin area where the hurricane came through and ask that you pray for those affected and for us as we travel. Thanks!

Thanks to all of those who have continued to support Mtn2Sea. We finished loading the trucks this morning and headed to Bainbridge, GA where we will wait out the storm. Please continue to pray for those in the path of this storm and please pray for the Lord to lead us as to where we should serve. Hurricane Isaias

Mtn2Sea Ministries is loaded and ready to deploy to the Gulf.

We loaded our supplies, generators, skid steer, etc. today and will be heading out first thing in the morning. We will stage right outside the worst weather so we can immediately roll in.

Thanks to those who support us throughout the year so we can always be ready to deploy, not having to wait days and weeks collecting supplies.

Hurricane Isaias

PLEASE take this storm seriously if you’re in the potential path!

As we always say, you just never know, when it’s a Gulf storm. This storm is coming quick and can and probably will have some rapid intensifying.

BE READY! And not just on the coast.

As for Mtn2Sea Ministries we are ready to help with this storm and have prepared to do so as if it was a major hurricane. If you’re on the coast, that’s how you should also be preparing. Just in case! The Gulf is always sketchy.

We are finishing up our prep in the morning and will be headed out tomorrow afternoon or early Friday, depending on the storms progress.

Our goal, as always is to be there as quickly as possible to bridge the gap between impact and when the large Orgs. arrive. Which can take some time. Pray that we have clear roads so we can be boots on the ground the first day.

Being there the first day will allow us to provide much needed supplies, such as generators for those with medical needs, food etc., instantly. Not making the victims wait days or weeks while we try and collect supplies to bring out.

Thanks to those who have helped us be ready to instantly help. If you would like to help make sure you send your donations to those on the ground that can make sure it gets to where it’s needed. Not sitting in a warehouse for weeks or months not being used.

BE READY!

We have been following talk about this possible storm for over a week. Wasn’t going to be anything, then maybe, well now…. it definitely seems like it’s going to be something to be ready for!

Still lots of unknowns. The two big problems are, it’s in the Gulf so you never know how big it can get with the warm waters. And the other problem is, it’s coming fast and can intensify very quickly!

So pray with us it amounts to nothing, but if you in the path (remember it can/will change some) be ready!!!

As for Mtn2Sea Ministries we are already loading trucks and trailers and will be ready to deploy tomorrow if needed.
