📣 Pack 3069 Families!

Please take a moment to check your email for an important message about our upcoming Parent Planning & Recharter Meeting.

We'll be planning our upcoming Scouting year, discussing recharter, recruiting, volunteer opportunities, and gathering your ideas for the year ahead. We'd love to have at least one parent from every family attend.

The email also asks for your availability over the next couple of weeks so we can choose a meeting date that works for as many families as possible. Please reply to the email when you have a chance!

🌲 Scout Reminder – This Sunday!

Join us at Hartman Reserve (657 Reserve Dr, Cedar Falls) from 2:00–4:00 PM. Please arrive by 1:45 PM so we can get started on time.

If your Scout needs to leave early for the 3:30 party in Waterloo, we’ll do our best to wrap up in time.

👉 Please send a quick headcount if you haven’t yet!

What to know:

K–5 Scouts with a parent

No uniforms needed

Dress for the weather & hiking

Bring any recommended gear from your Scout book

Looking forward to a great afternoon outdoors! 🌳

🍁 SAVE THE DATE – Pack 3069 Maple Syruping Adventure! 🍁

Pack 3069 families — please mark your calendars for a fun spring outing!

📅 Sunday, March 22, 2026
⏰ 2:00–4:00 PM
📍 Hartman Reserve

👧🧒 Who: Cub Scouts in grades K–5 with a parent

Activities include:
👣 Guided hike with sap collection
🍯 Learn how maple syrup is made
🐍 Indoor tour with animal furs and a chance to touch a snake
🥞 Maple syrup snack time (snack provided)

Even if sap isn’t flowing that day, the group will still enjoy a guided hike and learn all about the maple syruping process.

More details coming closer to the date — we wanted to give families plenty of notice to get this on the calendar!

📢 **Cub Scout Families – Reminder!**

We’re meeting **this Sunday** as we kick off a new year of Cub Scouting! 🐾🎉

**Date:** Sunday January 18, 2026
**Time:** 3 o'clock to 5:00 PM
**Location:** Saint Paul's parish hall

The Scouts will have a fun, hands-on activity and a snack. Uniforms encouraged but not required.

We’re excited to start the year strong. See you there!

🎄 Christmas Cheer Scout Get-Together 🎄

Scouts will be making Christmas cards and decorations for Bartle’s Home, enjoying hot cocoa and cookies, and learning winter readiness skills. ❄️☕✂️
It’s a fun, relaxed way to celebrate the season and give back. We hope to see everyone there!
