1,000 pounds of food, essential supplies, and generous financial support — that’s the impact of our Tony Brazil “Restock the Co-op” Food Drive!

Through this effort, the St. Camillus employee food and essentials pantry, The Co-op, will continue to provide hope and nourishment to employee families when it’s needed most.

This incredible show of support reflects the mission of St. Camillus in action, bringing care and compassion to our community in a meaningful way.

Thank you to Ms. Kim's Amazing Animals for visiting our campus and bringing so many incredible creatures for our residents to enjoy! From soft bunnies and hedgehogs to chinchillas, geckos, birds, snakes, and more, it was a wildly fun hands-on experience for all.

We appreciate you sharing your amazing animals with our community!

Another Summer Concert Series performance is in the books!

Although the cooler weather moved us indoors, Christopher's Project filled the afternoon with classic favorites. Residents enjoyed delicious food and drinks while taking in the music and spending time together in great company.

We’re already looking forward to the next performance!

More than 250 staff members recently participated in our “How to Approach a Resident with Dementia” workshop, led by our Learning & Development team across 26 sessions.

Through hands-on learning and meaningful discussion, staff explored how to better understand resident behaviors, build stronger human connection through compassionate approaches, and respond with empathy and understanding before reacting with frustration.

We’re proud to continue investing in education that strengthens the care, dignity, and support we provide every day at St. Camillus.

Independent Living residents enjoyed a fantastic outing at the Milwaukee Brewers game!

Before heading into the stadium, the group gathered for a classic tailgate featuring brats, burgers, and all the game-day favorites. They were also joined by one of our Marquette Students in Residence, Sam!

A perfect day of baseball, good food, and even better company at the ballpark!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We are especially grateful for the veterans in the St. Camillus community whose courage, service, and sacrifices continue to inspire us every day. Today and always, we thank all who have served and remember those we have lost.

After working in Food Service at St. Camillus for 8 years, Izzy Gordon expressed interest in becoming an electrician. Instead of hiring outside the organization, St. Camillus saw an opportunity to support and grow talent from within. With mentorship from Master Electrician Dan Merian, Izzy began her apprenticeship journey.

Four years later, Izzy has completed the school portion of her apprenticeship and is continuing to build experience on campus as she works toward taking her Journeyman exam next year.

We’re so proud of Izzy and excited to see all that’s ahead for her!

In celebration of Nurses Week, St. Camillus honored our incredible nursing team with a week full of Spirit Week festivities and a special appreciation luncheon.

From thoughtful recognition to shared moments of celebration, the week was dedicated to saying thank you to the nurses who bring skill, compassion, and heart to every shift.

We are truly grateful for all they do to support our community!

With warmer weather finally here, residents across the St. Camillus campus are taking full advantage of every chance to get outside and enjoy the community around them. From weekly walks for Independent Living residents to special group outings for Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing, the nearby (across the street!) Milwaukee County Zoo has long been a favorite destination.

One of the many perks of life at St. Camillus is access to zoo passes, making spontaneous adventures and meaningful moments easy to enjoy. It’s a wildly fun way to soak up the sunshine!
