Our talented residents generously share their artwork, which is periodically showcased in the Robert and Carol Cassell Art Gallery.

Resident Al B.’s photography captures the beauty and unforgettable experiences he and his family have encountered throughout their travels across the United States and the world.

Resident Linda G. brings her creativity to life through quilting, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that she often gives as gifts for special occasions. As Linda shares, “Knowing that something I created by hand can become a part of someone else’s memories is what makes quilting so rewarding to me.”

Their unique perspectives and creative talents are just another part of what makes our community so special!

As a special thank you to our Priority Waitlist members, we invited them to an exclusive evening at St. Camillus! Guests enjoyed live music, a delicious three-course meal and plenty of time to sit back, unwind and enjoy good company. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to show our appreciation for being part of the St. Camillus community.

Assisted Living and Memory Care residents enjoyed a beautiful visit from Milwaukee Ballet! The talented ballerinas performed several dances and shared the history and artistry behind ballet. Everyone loved having a front-row seat to such a special performance.

Aloha from Independent Living! 🌺 Our recent luau brought the island spirit our way, with live Caribbean music, a fresh fruit display, sorbet, festive drinks, and even a conga line or two. Who says you have to leave your house to go to paradise? 🌴🥥

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee students recently participated in their annual Draft Day, finding out where they’ll spend their work-study days for the school year. We’re excited to welcome eight students to St. Camillus, including two returning for a second year.

They’ll gain hands-on experience in Recreation Therapy, Pastoral Care, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Human Resources roles, working alongside our team one day each week. We’re looking forward to seeing all they learn and accomplish!

What a great day on the course! St. Camillus was proud to partner with Journey21, Inc. at their recent golf outing — a celebration of the connection between our organizations and our shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We welcomed prospective residents for an Italian-inspired afternoon featuring Chef Giuseppe's homemade oven-fired pizza, made fresh right before our eyes! Great food, beautiful weather, and a wonderful chance to get a taste of life at St. Camillus. "Grazie" to all who joined us!

Our community gathered to celebrate the opening and blessing of our brand new butterfly garden, made possible by the Order of St. Camillus Foundation. Residents, family members, and employees released live Painted Lady butterflies and watched them take their first flight around the space that will now be their home.

This garden is more than a beautiful space — it's helping preserve the monarch population. In the weeks leading up to the official celebration, residents gathered to release monarchs we raised ourselves, right as they hatched. Third grade students from Tonawanda Elementary School also lent a hand, planting flowers and creating the butterfly mural that sits in the center of the garden.

We can't wait to see how it blooms in the years to come!
