There are two plant fundraisers going and the online one ends noon tomorrow. You can also head to Shady Lane through June and mention McKinley. Tuesday is the last day of the BOGO Book Fair. While you're there, stop by the Lost & Found as it will be emptied on Friday. Thursday is our last regularly scheduled PTO meeting. How are you going to help support the PTO next year?

So proud of our McKinley Chess Club!

The McKinley Chess Team placed 8th in the K-3 Unrated Division at the US Chess Federation National Championships in Baltimore, MD, last weekend! ♟️🏆🙌 Congratulations to the amazing team members: second and third graders Finnegan B., Fox B., Parker D., Xavier N., Andrew R., and Kav S., and to fifth-grader Noah B. for his outstanding performance, finishing 5th in the K-6 Unrated Division! 🌟 Special shoutout to Coach Mark Seghers for guiding the team to success on the national stage. Keep up the great work, McKinley Chess Team! 🤩👏

Thank you to all the family, TW students and community/business members who helped make McKinley PTO's 2026 High Interest Day a success! The kids had a blast and got to meet next year's principal Steve Sperl. If you need plants or compost, check out the Peace Garden and Green Team fundraisers. We also have many upcoming events including Teacher Appreciation Week starting May 4th. Don't forget tonight's Dine Out at Lion's Tail Brewing Co.!
