Today is the first day of our new fiscal year. Happy New Year! We are thrilled to share that we granted 409 wishes this past fiscal year. Whether you’re a volunteer, a medical professional, a donor, a wish alum family, an in-kind donor, an ambassador, a staff member or intern, YOU helped us grant these wishes and the impact you made is wide and deep. Join us Wed, Sept 16 for Golf for Wishes at Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva. Register now at http://wish.org/wisconsin/golf-geneva. It will be a fantastic day on either the Brute or Highlands courses (first-come, first-serve) with a hot breakfast, snacks and refreshments on the course, games on the course, silent auction, heavy apps after golf and an inspiring program. It was an amazing morning for Wild Walk For Wishes at Milwaukee County Zoo. With over 1,700 people registered this year, we raised enough funds to grant more than 40 wishes. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers and participants for coming out and making today such a huge success. We look forward to being back at the zoo next year.

Our friends at Lee Mechanical are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and in honor of it, they raised an outstanding $20,000 to give kids battling critical illnesses the hope they need through a wish come true. We were thrilled to have their team come to our office to present the check and take a tour. Thank you to everyone at Lee Mechanical and happy 50th!

This past July, the incredible team at Tennies Jewelry Fox Valley held their annual Christmas in July sale where a portion of sales went back to making life-changing wishes come true for local kids battling critical illnesses. Not only do they sell beautiful pieces, but their team members are always willing to assist & provide their key expertise, going above and beyond for their customers. "Our Make-A-Wish trip to Hawaii impacted Zayden and our entire family. After everything Zayden has been through, the trip gave him the opportunity to just be a kid—to explore, laugh, try new things, and make incredible memories without cancer, treatments and hospital visits being at the center of our lives. Seeing his excitement and happiness reminded us just how much he had fought for and how far he had come. It was a beautiful reminder that there is life beyond cancer, and that there are so many wonderful experiences still waiting for Zayden."
