👋 Meet Kaitlyn, our Child Care Director!
Kaitlyn brings a strong background in classroom leadership, licensing compliance, and staff training and support. She's certified in Infant & Child CPR/AED, trained in infant and toddler care, SIDS prevention, and child safety, and is currently pursuing her administrator credential.
As a member of the Wautoma-area community, Kaitlyn is passionate about helping little ones learn, grow, and thrive while building strong relationships with local families!
"I am incredibly excited and honored to be joining the YMCA as the Childcare Director. This is a very special opportunity because we are building this program from the ground up, with our local children, families, and community at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to create a childcare environment where children feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn and grow each day. We want our program to be a place where families feel welcomed, teachers feel valued and supported, and children are given opportunities to explore, play, discover, and build confidence.
As we prepare to open, I am looking forward to getting to know the families in our community and learning what you are looking for in a childcare program. Your thoughts, questions, and ideas are important to us as we build something that truly serves Waushara County.
