Meet the Board: Jennifer McCullough Jennifer has spent almost 30 years volunteering with United Way. She began with the Delta area United Way, and was a founding member of the merged United Way of Fulton County Board. She has served multiple terms and is a past President. Jenny is currently our 2nd Vice President.
Jennifer worked as a department supervisor at The Anderson’s in Maumee for over 20 years until her retirement. She has been married to her husband, Dale, for 54 years and have 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and another on the way in September 2026. Jennifer has experience with other non-profit organizations, such as The Open Door of Delta, American Red Cross, LTRC Tornado Relief, P-D-Y PTO, and the Fulton County Health Center Board of Directors. “United Way is a great organization doing great things, and there are many programs available to the residents of Fulton County” says Jenny. And she enjoys spreading the word about what United Way is and does within the community.

Meet the Board: Kari Dominique is currently serving as the board’s secretary. She works at Fairlawn Retirement Community Center in Archbold as the HR Director and enjoys working and growing in the field of Human Resources. She and her husband Justin of 23 years reside in Archbold. They have three kids (Carson (Natalie), Brodie and Myles) and a grandson, Ezekiel. Kari and her family are very active and enjoy traveling. Whenever they have a chance, they enjoy spending as much time as they can at Coldwater Lake, MI. Her motivation quote has always been “Live life to the fullest and make a difference along the way!”
When asked to be part of the United Way Board, she knew that this was a start to building her life experiences and being an advocate for the community. Kari says “As the world continues to change around us – we must always be willing to seek and provide assistance to those in need. I love being part of a group that I can say I have contributed to help make a difference for the future of the community.”

Meet the Board: Eric Barnes is currently serving as United Way of Fulton County’s Board of Directors President. He is from Wauseon and is a self-employed independent insurance agent. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for 30 years and have four grown children. He is an active member at the North Clinton Church and has served on the Stewardship Board for many years. Eric enjoys camping, attending local sporting events, and hobby farming. Eric decided to become a board member because he enjoys helping others and serving the community/county. He was most surprised by how many people we touch in Fulton County, with programs like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Cancer Care. Also, by the number of agencies that are supported by United Way of Fulton County.

Summer is almost here and so is the Summer Food Program!
Starting in just ONE MONTH, children can enjoy FREE nutritious meals while spending time outdoors and playing at local parks, Monday through Friday through July 24th. It’s a great way to stay active, connect with friends, and enjoy healthy food all summer long!
Looking to get involved? We’d love your help! If you or a group you’re part of would like to volunteer to lead games or activities at a Summer Food Site, please contact Crystal at 419-784-5136 ext. 1130.

Did You Know...Dolly Parton’s Imagination Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has partnered with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to bring Storybook Trails to State Parks and Rest Areas across the state. This partnership highlights the importance of literacy, activity, and connecting with nature.

Each Storybook Trail is a short walking path that features a book from the Imagination Library on child-height panels.
• Take story time on the road and visit a Storybook Trail while traveling. It’s a great way to stretch your legs, breathe in some fresh air, and take a break from driving.
• Visiting a Storybook Trail at one of our State Parks is a fun way to expose your child to reading in a new and adventurous way.

There is a Storybook Trail right here in Fulton County at the Harrison Lake State Park in Fayette! See the map and make Storybook Trails your next summer adventure!
