Our lodge was established April 18th , 1864 and is located near the heart of downtown Wauseon.

Wauseon Lodge No.349 is a regular lodge of Free and Accepted Masons falling under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ohio and the United Grand Lodge of England. Our currant location was built and dedicated in 1969 and is one of the only single story lodges in the district. WB Frank Chapa once referred to our lodge as "The Garden Spot of the Fabulous 5th District" and that description has becom

e something of a tag line ever since. Wauseon Lodge currently boast a membership of nearly 200 Masons and in part owes it's large membership to the consolidation of 2 other area lodges. Swanton Lodge and Fayette Lodge. Our building is also host to 3 other Masonic appendant bodies. Wauseon Chapter No.111 Royal Arch Masons

Wauseon Lodge is a very charitable lodge supporting several local charities including but not limited to Sarah's Garden, Safety City, Boy Scouts of America, The Special Olympics, and the the Wounded Warrior Project as well as many state and nationally Masonic sponsored charities such as the The Diabetic Children's Foundation, Shriners Children's Hospitals, Adopt America, and more.

The 5th District Association would like to congratulate R.W.B. Robert Rettig on being awarded the Rufus Putnam Award at the 216th Annual Grand Lodge Communications for the Grand Lodge of Ohio. We'll deserved brother! The Rufus Putnam Award, named after the first elected Grand Master of The Grand Lodge of Ohio, is the highest award given by The Grand Lodge of Ohio. It was established to recognize individuals who have rendered distinguished service in some field of endeavor beneficial to mankind. These can include endeavors in professional, community, literature, business, education, science, industry, or eminent leadership and/or outstanding achievement in the service of Freemasonry. Past recipients have included Senator William Saxby, coach Woody Hayes, astronaut Neil Armstrong, Ohio attorney general Betty Montgomery, and astronaut and senator John Glenn
