Closing out National Aviation Day with some real stick and rudder flyin' ... please help us congratulate Derek Prince on his tail wheel endorsement!
Derek received his private pilot certificate this June at Wausau Flying Service, Inc./Wausau Downtown Airport, and has been active with Civil Air Patrol Wisconsin Wing certifying to fly their 172s. This summer Derek developed and engineered a tracking system for the race planes for the AirVenture Cup Race. He did his tailwheel training at Kylie's Cub Air Flight in Hartford, WI; and looks forward to getting some time behind the stick of Learn Build Fly's Wittman Legacy, which he helped build.

A huge thank you to the kids, parents, ground team, pilots, and Shawano Municipal Airport and Seaplane Base for making these flights happen!!

Congratulations to Nathan Prince on his tailwheel endorsement!!
Nathan received tailwheel instruction at Kylie's Cub Air Flight in Hartford, WI.
Since receiving his private in June at Wausau Flying Service, Inc./Wausau Downtown Airport , Nathan has also completed onboarding and flown for Civil Air Patrol Wisconsin Wing
He flew his first passengers this past week including his brother, Derek, seen here with Nathan (back seat) in Cub Air's J3 Cub.
