Two weeks ago, Payne’s Pacas Inc. hosted their second annual pitch and UNO tournament and we had THE BEST TIME!

Through generous donations, we collected $6,160! This is enough to purchase 176 stuffed alpacas!

🎉 Pitch Tournament Winners:
• 1st Place: Rachel Schutte and Sam Haller
• 2nd Place: Chris Haberer and Jamie Clausen
• 3rd Place: Janice Hefner and Monty Hefner

🌶️ Chili Cook-Off Winners:
• 1st Place: Casey Anderson
• 2nd Place: Nate Schutte
• 3rd Place: Coleman Broders

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who participated and supported the event!

Our goal for 2026 is to expand our donations! We are in contact with Children’s Mercy in Kansas City and Sioux Falls Children’s Hospital! Because of kind, giving donors, we will be able to spread EVEN MORE smiles, one alpaca at time.

Payne’s Pacas was given the opportunity to set up a booth at the Forever in Our Hearts memorial walk on Saturday. Forever in Our Hearts is a nonprofit group who provides a community of support for families who have had a pregnancy, infant or child loss.

Heidi, Sadie and Haley shared Payne’s Pacas mission and loved talking about our spunky, sweet Payne. It was incredible to see such a loving community come together to support each other during such a difficult time in people’s lives.

Thank you again to Lindsay at Forever in Our Hearts for this amazing opportunity!
