Hey friends of HHV,we’ve been Blessed again, my buddy T-Bone Marks had an idea, he ran it past his friends at Doodles Bar in Hartford and they did an amazing thing. They held a meat raffle and raised $5130 ! Another group of American Patriots going above and beyond to support our Veterans. So our wood burning guy Jim Lipps made them an appreciation plaque.

Well friends ,Tiger’s Bar & Grill did it again!!! Last Saturday was their 3rd Hike for Heroes event and they again raised $28,000!!! Randy and Shelly Oswald and the many volunteers and donors that put this together are truly amazing American Patriots. They donated $14,000 to HHV & $14,000 to Sierra Delta , that goes a long way towards providing the necessary funds to put on our 13th season of providing hunts for our deserving Veterans! First-time turkey hunter and Marine veteran Bill Sornson got it DONE 💪🦃🇺🇸
Guided by Brian Ball on Don and Linda Pausma’s farm, Bill dropped an absolute tank — 29 lbs, 11” beard, 1” spurs.
Once the fog lifted, the birds lit it up… and Bill sealed the deal. What a rush!!

HHV continues to be incredibly blessed. 🇺🇸
Hides for Heroes founder Dave Hintz, along with volunteers Rachel and Dan, visited Camp Nickolas once again and generously donated $2,500 to HHV. It’s patriots like these who truly have a heart for our Veterans, and everyone at HHV is deeply humbled and grateful.
