And just like that, the 2026 WBO season is in the books! 😢
Our season as a program was a huge success and we are extremely thankful for everyone who made it possible.
Over the last 5 years, this program has expanded and grown at a tremendous rate. We are able to see this growth because of the community we live in. Waupaca is a special place and Swan Park is a big reason it’s so special. The improvements done to the fields in the fall of 2025 gave us the perfect reason to go big and host 4 tournaments in 2026. A huge shoutout to City of Waupaca Parks and Recreation for always having the fields in elite shape.
We are appreciative of Mother Natures cooperation and giving us good weather all four weekends we hosted. That was a pleasant surprise since it always seems like we get a big storm that causes problems.
We are also appreciative to the WBO parents who fulfilled their duties and showed up on time to work their volunteer shifts. We depend on this happening, and you delivered.
To the coaches & board members who dedicated their summers to coaching our boys and sacrificing weekends to help run tournaments and maintain fields, THANK YOU! You all deserve a vacation after the season we just had.
Over the course of the summer, our tournaments brought in thousands upon thousands of people to Waupaca. We packed the park, and the feedback we heard was overwhelmingly positive. People loved the facility. The fields are incredible and we are thankful & appreciative of Waupaca Foundry Faulks Bros. Construction, Inc. Badgerland Restoration & Remodeling Neuville Motors Energys USA, Inc.-Tri State Testing Premier Community Bank Farmers State Bank Turner's Fresh Market Whitetail Valley Beef Riverhill Dental Associates RE/MAX Lyons Real Estate in Waupaca Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce for making this possible.
