My friends, I know that you have good Christian friends who have made mistakes, some big and some small—at least in the eyes of the world. Have you called them to repent? I would encourage you to do so, because this is what Jesus would have us do. Out of love for their soul, give them that safe, confidential place to confess their sin to you.

We are proud to partner with Resilient Recovery Ministries to produce a quality peer Bible study program geared toward our Nation’s Protectors, Veterans, 1st Responders, and Public Safety personnel. Resilient Recovery Ministries has been providing gospel focused lessons for over 10 years. Stay posted for when groups are available online or in-person.

Resilient Recovery Ministry (RRM) and Lutheran Military Support Groups (LMSG) are partnering to adapt the Resilient Recovery Bible study format to serve Veterans and First responders. To adapt the Resilient Recovery curriculum to serve soldiers and first responders, we must take a critical first step: clearly define the problem and the solution.

Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with Military Families and consider joining our community of monthly donors!

Monthly supporters provide a dependable foundation that allows LMSG to continue serving Military Service Members, Veterans, and their Families throughout the year. These generous donations help provide Christian Warriors with Christ-centered support such as:

• Workshops & Spiritual Retreats
• Chaplaincy or Public Ministry scholarships for Service Members & Veterans
• Providing Christian Service Members’ Handbooks
• Assistance Grants for Veterans

If you are interested in becoming a monthly donor, or other ways to help us serve our Christian Warriors, visit: lutheranmilitary.org/donate

When Jesus tells you to take up your cross and follow me, it means that you must deny your own doubts and fears, and say, “No matter how great my pain, how horrible my suffering, my God remains my God and Savior because he has promised to be my God and Savior. I will embrace his promises even when they seem to contradict his promise of grace and help in every need.”

Please join us as we thank our outgoing Board Chair, Heather Rovey, for 9 years of faithful service to LMSG on the Board of Directors. In those 9 years, Heather served as Chair of the Board for 5 years. God used Heather's strong leadership abilities and care for her fellow Service Members to strengthen the organization at both Board and operational levels. Heather's servant leadership was exemplified through a major reorganization of our ministry, growth and improvement of the Christ-centered resources offered, and doing it all with a devotion to the people around her. Thank you, Heather, for your dedication and heart over the past nine years. God's continued blessings to you in his grace!

Dwight Johnson is stepping into the role of Chair of the Board after serving as Vice-Chair. Our mighty Savior bless and keep our new executive team.

Congratulations, AJ! Thank you for your service!
