September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month. This September, BRPF is also honoring 25 years of research, assistance, scholarships, and hope while inviting our community to learn, listen, share, give, and be part of the cure ahead.

Follow along all month for education, stories, accessibility reminders, resources, and ways to take action.

You can help by following, sharing, and inviting someone new to learn about BRPF, donating and joining us in fundraising for a cure.

Progress takes persistence. Research toward a cure for paralysis depends on long-term belief, sustained investment, and a community willing to keep moving forward.

For 25 years, BRPF supporters have helped fuel hope, discovery, assistance, and opportunity. As September approaches, we remain focused on the cure ahead.

Stay connected for education, advocacy, and action in September for Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month.

Spinal cord injury affects individuals, families, caregivers, workplaces, schools, businesses, and communities. Awareness begins with understanding the full picture, not just the diagnosis.

As we round out the month of August, we're inviting our community to learn, listen, reflect, and prepare for September's Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month.

Share this post to help start the conversation.

For 25 years the Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation has been powered by families, donors, researchers, sponsors, volunteers, and advocates who believe a cure is possible.

We're just a few weeks away from Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month in September. Stay tuned as we get ready to celebrate the people who have helped carry this mission forward and have fueled the hope that continues to guide our way forward on the way to a cure.

What an incredible day at Kayak 4 A Cure last Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came out to Fowler Lake in Oconomowoc and paddled, cheered, volunteered, donated, and helped make this event such a meaningful success. Your support and energy made the day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to be surrounded by a community that shows up to be a part of the cure.

Check out these great photos from the event! Thank you again for being part of Kayak 4 A Cure — we could not have done it without you!

Special thanks to Beyli at Storymark Photography for capturing the highlights of Kayak 4 A Cure!

Today, we celebrate freedom, community, and the strength that comes from supporting one another. As families and friends gather across the country, we’re grateful for the incredible BRPF community—our donors, volunteers, supporters, and families—who help bring hope, resources, and encouragement to those affected by paralysis.

Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and meaningful Independence Day. ❤️🤍💙
