💙 A Big Thank You & an Exciting Welcome 💙

We have a bittersweet update to share with our Team Up With Families / Katy’s Kloset community.

After years of incredible dedication, Rose Hebar retired as our Executive Director on February 20th. Since joining us in 2021, Rose has helped grow our programs serving thousands of families across Southeast Wisconsin each year. We are so thankful for her heart, leadership, and everything she’s given to our families and volunteers. 💐

At the same time, we’re excited to welcome Lynn Biese-Carroll as our new Executive Director! Lynn brings years of experience in healthcare and nonprofit leadership, and we can’t wait for her to get to know our amazing community and help carry our mission forward.

We are incredibly grateful to Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin for their generous grant supporting our 2026 Team Up for Fun! Day Camp.
Because of their support, children with disabilities can enjoy a fun filled week at camp alongside their siblings—making memories through horseback riding, fishing, music, arts & crafts, and so much more.
Variety’s mission of empowering children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disabilities to live life without limits is truly inspiring, and their generosity is making a meaningful difference for families in our community and beyond. SAVE THE DATE! Team Up For Fun! Day Camp

July 27- July 30, 2026, 9:30am-1:30pm

Join us as we ride horses, conquer the obstacle course, do some art projects, enjoy special guest performances and celebrate “Pets” our 2026 camp theme.

“Team Up for Fun” Day Camp is designed for children with physical challenges ages 4 to 17 and their siblings. Parents will need to stay with children who are 4 years of age. Volunteer ‘buddies’ are available to help children with physical needs enjoy camp. These ‘buddies’ are physical therapy students from Carroll University. Campers whose primary needs are PHYSICAL are the focus of Team Up camp. If your child has primarily behavioral, emotional, or sensory challenges, this camp is not a good fit for his/her needs. Campers ages 13– 17 may register for our Teen Camp. Teen Camp activities are geared toward our older campers.

Katy’s Kloset is thrilled and deeply grateful to be the proud recipient of a Waukesha Service Club Grant! Your support empowers us to expand our reach and offer essential medical equipment and supplies to those who need it most. Together, we are building a stronger, kinder future.

The Mission of the WAUKESHA SERVICE CLUB is to serve the sick and support the community of Waukesha County by responding to the needs of individuals and organizations. Through their generosity and hands-on involvement, they make a meaningful difference for nonprofits like Katy’s Kloset and the families we serve.

WOW. Just WOW!!!
