🥫 Why Your Support Matters More Than Ever
The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County is facing increased demand while receiving less food support from key programs:

📉 Food supply is down 21%
• Last year: 1.9 million lbs from TEFAP + food recovery partners
• This year: 1.5 million lbs

📈 Need continues to rise
• 2021: 4,282 individuals served
• 2024: 8,897 individuals served
• Jan–Nov 20, 2025: 8,957 individuals served (a 7% increase)
• Over 99,812 pantry visits this year alone

These numbers represent our neighbors — families, seniors, and children who rely on the pantry during difficult times.

❤️ A Tradition of Compassion
Our neighborhood has supported this food drive for 25 years, raising over $130,000 and collecting more than 100,000 pounds of food. Every donation helps continue that tradition of caring and community.

In November 2002, a group of families from our neighborhood took up a collection during the holidays and delivered it to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County. Seeing the extent of the need was the catalyst for the first food drive, and ongoing inspiration.

As we move into the holiday season with Thanksgiving next week, we remember what it was that moved us to hosting this annual tradition: supporting our neighbors and our community who need it most. The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County continues to do incredibly meaningful work for the community, and we are honored to once again step up to assist at a time when they are seeing an increase in clients and need our help – and we know that when we come together, we can do exactly that! In this year of growing need, we have an ambitious goal of raising $10,000.

Over the past 24 years this group has raised $131,058 and collected 49.91 tons of food. We have made a difference by embracing the spirit of community and good will toward those in need.
