Friends with Food

The powers that be are contemplating on where we can store all of the wonderful blessings of food we’ve been receiving.
Quite simply we need a bigger space !!! We are desperately looking for a larger space, preferably with a cooler and freezer or the ability to have one built and a type of loading dock or garage door to bring our box truck into.
In addition, we are looking for more volunteers for food rescue pick ups and forklift drivers. We are currently struggling with limited volunteers with the ability and know how to be able to drive a box truck and forklift.
If you are available, interested, or know somebody we want to talk to you !!!

Last night’s Asian food cooking class was fantastic !!! We made Crab Rangoon, chicken fried rice, and pandan waffles!! we learned a lot, ate a lot, 🤣, laughed and made new friends !!! Thank you Asian Queen !!!!🩷🩷🩷

Did you know we have a drop off bin at the front of our building at 713 N. Grandview Blvd. Waukesha ?? You can drop off at non-perishable items 24 -7 like this neighbor did !! Thank you !!!!!

Please sign up for a Asian Themed Cooking Class brought to you by the famous, Waukesha's own, 'Asian Queen'. We will learn to make Crab Rangoon, Fried Rice, and Pandan Waffles for dessert. She is donating her time, supplies, and labor to Friends With Food for this amazing class. You will leave the class with new knowledge, techniques, recipes, and a full belly !!

Asian Queen usually charges $85 a person. We are asking for only a $10 donation for the food/grocery purchase made payable in ADVANCE by cash and/or VENMO (Jamie-Hardt-2) (phone code if needed is 2913) by August 20th to hold your spot. Walk ins/day of registration can not be guaranteed.
