The Waukegan Parks Foundation recently planted a tree in Upton Park to honor the time Harry E. Came spent on the Waukegan Parks Foundation Board and for his dedicated service and continued support of the Parks Foundation and the Waukegan Park District.

As a founding member, Harry has helped shape opportunities that benefit our community for generations. We are grateful for his leadership, commitment, and impact he continues to make today.

History came to life for third graders from Oakdale Elementary School! Students explored interactive exhibits at the Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie, uncovering fascinating stories from the city's past, then teamed up with the Lake County Audubon Society to practice navigation and migration activities using compasses.
