The Sigma Phi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. invites you to read and discuss "The Gift of Fear: Survival Signals That Protect Us from Violence" by Gavin de Becker.

This book club is open to everyone, so grab a copy, invite a friend, and join us for meaningful conversations about intuition, awareness, personal safety, and recognizing the signals we sometimes overlook.

✨ What an amazing evening ✨

Our friends of the Zeta Phi Beta - Sigma Phi Zeta Chapter really know how to put on a beautiful event!

The Zeta Amicae of Waukegan showed up and showed out in full support, and it was truly inspiring to see our community come together to uplift scholarships and invest in future leaders.

Zeta Amicae of Waukegan is proud to announce that applications are now **OPEN** for the Eloise Jones Scholarship!

This scholarship was created to honor the legacy of our dear Zeta Friend and Sponsor Eloise Jones and to support **deserving high school-aged young women in the Lake County area** who are committed to continuing their education. We believe in pouring into the next generation and helping remove financial barriers to their success.

❤️ Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. It’s a third of our mothers, sisters, friends, neighbors, coworkers and more. It’s a third of the women we can’t bear to live without.

❤️ Cadiovascular disease impacts some women at higher rates than others, but the simple truth is that most cardiovascular diseases can still be prevented with education and healthy lifestyle changes.

❤️ Heart disease and stroke can affect a woman at any age, making it vital for all women to understand their personal risk factors and family history. Women can also experience unique life events that can impact their risk, including pregnancy and menopause. Furthermore, research shows that stress may impact health, making it important for women to understand the mind-body connection and how to focus on improving both their physical health and mental well-being.
