Ballet Folklorico Tayahua BFT Cultural Center- Ballet Folklorico Tayahua is an international traveling dance group located in Lake County, IL.

BFT uses ballet folklorico as a vehicle to prepare our dancers for success after highschool. Ballet Folklorico Tayahua es un grupo al cual la esencia y el propósito es enseñarle a los niños y adultos aprender de nuestro bello folklore.

Come celebrate creativity at the Gurnee Arts Festival on the Plaza on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Welton Plaza on Old Grand Avenue!

This free, family-friendly event features live art demonstrations, interactive activities, a Youth Art Tent, delicious food trucks, and incredible live performances by local talents like Citadel Theatre, School of Rock, and Dancenter North.
