📣 PARENTS, CHRC IS CALLING ALL TEENS! 📣
Join us on June 18th at 6:00 PM for an evening designed just for teens—a fun, safe, and supportive healing environment where young people can connect, share, learn, and grow.

Through engaging activities, real conversations, interactive games, and healing-centered discussions, teens will have the opportunity to explore topics that matter to them while building healthy connections with their peers.

At CHRC, we believe healing happens in community. Our hope is to heal our community one member, one teen, one person at a time.

Can we talk about how powerful and intimate this event was?

We gathered with an incredible group of women, and what took place was nothing short of transformational. The room was filled with honesty, vulnerability, courage, and healing. Stories were shared, tears were shed, and barriers were broken down as women felt safe enough to open up and be seen.

We were especially honored to have a licensed therapist join us and contribute to such meaningful conversations. Her insights, coupled with the willingness of the women present to share their experiences, created an atmosphere of trust, support, and growth.

At CHRC, these are the moments we are most grateful for—the moments when healing becomes more than a concept and turns into a lived experience. When community shows up for one another. When people realize they are not alone. When strength is found in vulnerability.

To every woman who attended, shared, listened, and supported another sister in the room: thank you. Your courage made this event what it was.

This is why we do the work. This is what healing in community looks like.

The Community Healing Resource Center (CHRC) would love for you to join us for our Blooming & Blossoming event on June 25, 2026.

As women, it is important that we are planted in good soil, develop strong roots, and grow into all that we are called to be. This event is designed to encourage, inspire, and empower women as they continue their journey of healing, growth, and transformation.

We hope you can join us for an evening of connection, reflection, and blossoming into your best self.

We look forward to seeing you there!

We’re back… refreshed, renewed, and ready to reconnect. Blooming and Blossoming is returning with open hearts, safe spaces, and conversations that pour life back into women who are growing through every season.

Come be heard.
Come be poured into.
Come surrounded by like minded women who understand the journey, the healing, the hustle, and the purpose.

This is more than a gathering… it’s a space to bloom together again. 💕🌿

CHRC has received an overwhelming response to the Healing Through Movement event, and it’s clear the community is ready for more intentional spaces like this. We’ve also heard loud and clear that the Barbershop and Beauty Shop Talks are something people would love to see return.

With that being said, we want to pause and ask the community directly:

What would *you* like to see as our next healing-centered event?

We are open to ideas that support emotional wellness, real conversations, and community connection. Some possibilities could include:

* Healing circles for men, women, or youth
* Mental health and faith-based conversations
* Family healing workshops
* Journaling and creative expression nights
* Grief and trauma support spaces
* Financial healing and stability conversations
* Relationship and communication forums

But we don’t want to limit it to just these ideas.

If CHRC created a space specifically for healing in your life or your community, what would it look like?

Today, our Site Coordinator, Jheri Bevil, had the opportunity to spend the day working with the youth at Zion Benton Township High School for Mentor Day alongside so many amazing community leaders through New Direction.

During our time together, we worked on SMART goals — teaching students how to create goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound. It was an impactful day filled with motivation, leadership, and meaningful conversations about their future.

We are thankful for every opportunity to pour into the next generation and be a positive impact in our community.

Special thanks to Idriss Joseph for the call and the opportunity. Count on CHRC anytime you need us! đź’™
