Mental health support starts early.

50% of all mental health conditions begin by age 14—and 75% by age 24. That’s why building mental health literacy in childhood and adolescence is key to lifelong well-being.

Whether you're a young person navigating big emotions, a parent trying to support your child, or a teacher or caregiver looking for tools—you’re not alone.

This is concerning for the mental health community & others reliant on Medicaid.

New Medicaid work reporting requirement rules could make it harder for millions of people living with mental illness to keep the health care they rely on. NAMI is deeply concerned that these new rules create barriers that could leave too many people without coverage.

“When a person is struggling or faced with a crisis, we want people to be able to get the health care they need, not focus on filling out paperwork.” — NAMI CEO Daniel H. Gillison, Jr.
