On Monday, we gathered in unity to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The MLK Dreamers Breakfast was filled with powerful speeches, meaningful reflection, and a shared commitment to keep the dream alive. The voices we heard reminded us that there is true strength in solidarity and purpose in community.

During the program, Waukegan Township honored our Soror of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., ITC Annie Criddell-Outlaw, with the 2026 Drum Major Award in recognition of her outstanding service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the community. Her legacy of service truly embodies Dr. King’s dream in action.

Grateful to capture these moments and for the inspiring words that continue to move us forward.
