Thank you to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for hosting today’s community health screening clinic and for opening your doors to support the health and well-being of our community.

We are deeply grateful to the L.U.N.A (Latinas Unidas Por Un Nuevo Amanecer), Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences, and MyHealthIowa - MiSaludIowa health navigators for sharing their time, compassion, and commitment to service. Together, we were able to provide important health education, blood pressure and blood glucose screenings, and connections to community resources in a trusted and welcoming space.

A special thank you to Socorro and Naomi for leading the clinics this weekend with such dedication, organization, and heart. Your leadership made a meaningful difference.

Community partnerships like this help bring prevention, education, and care closer to the families we serve. Thank you to everyone who helped make today possible!

Thank you to Mercado Latino de Iowa for hosting our monthly health screening clinic and for creating a welcoming space for community members to access blood pressure and blood glucose screenings, health education, and connections to resources.

We are also grateful to the Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences medical students, L.U.N.A (Latinas Unidas Por Un Nuevo Amanecer) volunteers, and MyHealthIowa - MiSaludIowa health navigators for generously sharing their time and service.
