Lori's 50th birthday is just one week away, and she's SO close to reaching her goal of feeding 50 families by 50! 🎂

Thanks to the generosity of our community, 37 families have already been sponsored! That means we need just 13 more people to give $25 before October 20th.

That's less than TWO donations a day!

Will you help us make Lori's birthday wish come true?

GIVE: Just $25 provides a day of food for a family of four.

SHARE: Can't give right now? Sharing this post could help us reach someone who can!

Every gift, every share, and every family fed brings us one step closer to celebrating Lori's birthday in the most meaningful way, by loving and serving our neighbors.

Hurricane preparedness doesn't have to happen all at once.

We know that putting together a complete emergency supply kit can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already working hard to meet your family's everyday needs.

But being prepared doesn't have to mean buying everything on a checklist today.

Start with what you can. Add an extra can of food to your grocery cart when your budget allows. Pick up a few batteries or a flashlight. Set aside a little drinking water. Focus on supplies your family can use throughout the year, even if a storm never comes.

A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.

As we continue through hurricane season, we encourage our Hardee County neighbors to take a look at this checklist from the Florida Division of Emergency Management and consider what small steps they can take toward being better prepared.

You don't have to do it all. Just start where you can. 💙
