Have you been to Peace River Park - a City of Wauchula - Government Park?

June is the Great Outdoors Month - this month, take the opportunity to explore one of the Wauchula City Parks! Today we hiked through Peace River Park on East Main Street.

Just across the road from Crews Riverside Park, these hiking 🥾 trails take you through wild Florida woods and over boardwalks to the Peace River and an observation tower. Primitive camping 🏕️ is available but you must register with the city too!

River access is great for shark tooth hunting and fishing spots. The trails are excellent for birding and spotting wildlife.

Schools out for summer so we took a road trip around Wauchula to check out the City Parks!
