Rotary District 6890 recognized the Heartland Rotary Freedom Flight as the “Best Community Service Project” by presenting a certificate to the co-coordinators, Sue Birge and John Eason. Freedom Flight honors our Veterans every year with a trip to see their memorials in Washington, DC. The flight is a joint project with all the Heartland Rotary Clubs. We are grateful for everyone who contributes financially and in many ways to make the flight experience possible. Congratulations Sue and John for this honor and thank you for your years of guiding this program.
