Last night was such a great meeting. We had some returning faces, goodbye to brothers heading back north, great good, and a full lodge. But the coolest part was getting to give out a 50 year pen to Brother Donald Gray. 50 years it’s such an incredible testimony. It was an honor not only to give him this award, but to hear him say “I will continue to improve myself as a Mason.” The work is never done men. We must always be fighting to be a better man today that we were yesterday.

“What started with three nobles back in 1960 has grown into something truly special,” says Bruce Norton, speaking with pride about the unit’s 60-plus members. “We’re not just the largest unit in El Riad – we’re the only Fife and Drum Corps in all of Shrinedom.
