Today we received the quote for the necessary repairs here at the sanctuary to recover from the devastating mud slide we experienced last month and the cost is far more than we had ever imagined.
$16,500.00
That is what we need to raise to bring in the professional help we need to repair and restore the drainage to the sanctuary that was destroyed by the farm near us.
And while $16,500 is far more than we had hoped to pay this is something that must be done and not something that we can do ourselves.
We are in communication with the farm's insurance and local agencies and are still holding out hope that we may eventually be able to recover some of this cost we need these funds now to get this work done immediately before the rain begin.
Please if you are able to help we need you now more than ever. We must have these repairs completed before the rains come to keep the animals safe and mitigate any further damages. Please help.
