Live Oak High School Key Club is a community service club that focuses on the town of Watson and surrounding areas along with the loving people that live in them. As a club that enjoys bettering the lives of the people in its community, we try in every imaginable way to help ensure happiness to the people around us. Also, we do everything in our power to help the children in hospitals throughout t
he Baton Rouge areas feel more at home by bringing them toys. Trying to cheer them up in their time of need not only helps them, but touches the hearts of every member in the club. In the past, we have participated in many local fundraisers and social gatherings. Also, we have helped to provide school uniforms and Christmas presents to the children in our community. On top of that, the club has provided many Thanksgiving dinners to families. In the future, we plan on continuing our attempts to better the place we all call home. Our current president, Gary Gillette, has many fresh, new ideas for the upcoming school year.
