Cajun Navy 2016 exists because ordinary people saw neighbors trapped, suffering, and waiting for help during disasters — and decided they could not stand by and do nothing. Our organization was born during the devastating 2016 Louisiana floods, when volunteers with boats began rescuing stranded families, pets, and elderly residents from rising floodwaters. What started as neighbors helping neighbors grew into a nationwide volunteer disaster-response nonprofit. Today we do so much more that just boat rescues during floods. We would like to thank all of our supporters and of course God for making us who we are today.🙏❤️🇺🇸

When we are not helping people during diasters we are growing produce for our community here in Livingston parish. Diaster Relief is my passion and gardening and canning is my wife’s. Check out her page and give her a like and share. Tomatoes are starting to turn. This year we have 900 tomato plants and many other veggies and fruits at Green Acres Garden Stand. Stop by and see us. You never know what PawPaw might do next. Never a dull moment for sure. A homeowner that we did a lot of work for gave him this go-kart for his grand kids. Thanks for the gift. The kids will love it.

We would like to thank our board member, Ricky McKenzie for helping out an elderly couple in our parish Thursday evening. He was able to secure a tarp to the top of their home to help keep them dry until the roofing company can get there.

Today we finally wrapped up a big yard for a homeowner in Bogue Chitto. No bad luck today, all went well. We are going to enjoy Memorial Day weekend with our families. We would like to thank everyone that supported us and sent prayers during this deployment to Mississippi. We love you all.❤️🇺🇸
