Who, What, When and Where

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program began in 1971 with 11 sites. It is a branch of Senior Corps and has one of the largest groups of volunteers! Opportunities, Inc. became a sponsor in 1981 and serves six Counties in Northwestern Oklahoma. Presently over 200 volunteers are serving locally with this great organization. We love Seniors who are 55 and older to join us as we strive to show community impact in needed areas from each community! Communities are diverse and many volunteers serve in the areas that they feel lead to support! Impact areas include Education, Food Pantries, Transporting Senior and Veterans, Meals on Wheels, Assisting Veterans, Senior Companion Outreach, Hospital Auxiliaries and Congregate Meals. Now we are being asked to help spread the word on the Opiod Crisis and inform the public about the medication and ways to keep their medication secure at home. Please join us and keep this great organization on the map!
