Memorial Day Ceremony – Honoring America’s Fallen Heroes

This Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th at 11:00 AM, we invite you to stand with us at Oconee Veterans Park (3500A Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677) as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in defense of our country and our freedom.

Their sacrifice is the very foundation of the liberties we cherish today. We gather not just to remember, but to renew our commitment to the values they died protecting: duty, honor, and country.

We are deeply honored to welcome Dr. Henry Heard, PhD, PA-C, retired Commander of the 187th Medical Group in Montgomery, Alabama, as our guest speaker for this solemn occasion.

The ceremony will take place outdoors at the Oconee County Veterans Memorial. In the event of inclement weather, we will gather in the Oconee Veterans Park Gymnasium, located on the same grounds.

Bring your family. Bring a friend. Let’s come together in gratitude, unity, and American pride, to pay tribute to our fallen heroes and to remind ourselves that freedom is never free.

Let us gather in unity and gratitude to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We hope to see you there.
