Cat Zip Alliance - Campus Cats

Cat Zip Alliance - Campus Cats It's hip to be tipped! TNR saves lives. We're an all volunteer 501c3 nonprofit with no paid employees. Established in 2007

Cat Zip Alliance - Campus Cats officially became a 501c3 non-profit in 2007. Our main focus is promoting humane community cat management and putting that into practice on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, GA. We are an all-volunteer group with no paid employees, so you know your donations go directly to covering vet care, food, and supplies. Our broad mission is to promote humane and eff

ective community cat management through our Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor (TNR), barn cat, sanctuary, and adoption programs in order to keep community cats out of animal control facilities. On a smaller scale, we care for the community cats that live on and adjacent to University of Georgia property every day. We use a network of foster homes as we do not have a physical shelter/location. Meet and greets with available cats and kittens are arranged by appointment after potential adopters have filled out our pre-adoption questionnaire. Email us at [email protected] if any of our cats or kittens have caught your eye and we'll send the questionnaire! Since 2006 we have TNR'd 875 community cats in the greater Athens area, adopted out 864 cats and kittens, pulled over 1400 unsocialized cats from area shelters for placement as working cats in barn homes, reunited 23 cats with owners, and transferred 71 cats and kittens to other rescue groups/shelters. We have also paid for spay/neuter and vaccines for over 200 owned cats and kittens. There are several options for making donations:
1) send a check made out to Cat Zip/Campus Cats to P.O. Box 902, Watkinsville, GA 30677
2) donate via PayPal (find us as [email protected])
3) donate via Venmo (find us as )
