For a family raising a child with a disability, summer camp can mean something as simple as going to the grocery store alone. For their child, it means some of their favorite weeks of the year.

But when there’s no room, families keep waiting. And the need doesn’t pause.

That’s why we’re building more room at Hooray- for retreats but also for day camp in the summer. These cabins mean more opportunities for campers to experience joy—and caregivers to experience respite.

Our general contractor, Ross, understands that need as an ESP dad. We’re grateful he and Restore Pros are helping us make room for the next family. 💙

During our 2026–2027 All Boards Retreat in Atlanta, Southern Company gave our Joyristas the opportunity to take the stage and share why they love Java Joy and what being a Joyrista means to them.

They got to talk about the opportunities they’ve been given, the ways they’ve grown, and the impact meaningful employment has had on their lives.

We’re so thankful to Georgia Power for hosting us and to Southern Company for creating space for our Joyristas to share their stories and their voices. 💙
