Malcolm 2 the Rescue

10/03/2026

Our latest rescue from Oklahoma. It’s been a little slow lately due to the lack of fosters! If you’ve ever thought about fostering a dog, NOW is the time. The star of the show was a great big Pyrenees named Liberty. She was absolutely sweet and adorable, She was already adopted and we delivered her to her new family to be their second Pyrenees!

We flew a bunch of rescue beagles and a big silver lab back to Denver. it was one of the quietest flights we’ve had. usually beagles are pretty vocal.

It’s always kids day when the Beagle Wagon Comes to Town!

We had a nice long empty leg from Denver to Conway Arkansas and gave Pilot Ben a chance to practice a simulated depressuration with a 9,000 ft. per minute emergency descent. Wheeee!

Our best known and loved rescue pilot Jack Rumpf and his wife Izzy are proud parents of a big beautiful baby boy. Jack is now flying with the largest Corporate flight operation in the World, Net Jets. Good luck to you both!

Here are some pictures of this weekend’s rescue from Oklahoma. 15 dogs and 7 cats and kittens. Co pilot was Ben Husted who, for a new guy, did a waaay above average job flying the airplane.

Philip, Malcolm, Olive and I took a much needed vacation to Santa Rosa and Bodega Bay, CA. Santa Rosa is the home of Canine Companions who raise and train dogs to assist humans with a variety of disabilities. We flew two of their adorable puppies home with us to attend training in Denver.
Co owner KEVIN was flying copilot.

It is rare that we fly with the seats in the airplane so it was a nice change. I got to have a light lunch on a table instead of eating out of my lap. Olive, who we think was a mother when she was a stray, was very interested in meeting the pups. We don’t know if her’s survived.

At any rate, it was nice to finish our trip with a different sort of charitable transport.

I think I left off pictures of the Cat Man. if you’re asking “how did the KATMANDU”, he did just fine.
