The sun is shining and the temps are rising as the Village of Watkins Glen and Watkins Glen Promotions prepare for an incredible event today. Not only is it an annual event, it's tradition. And we are so excited to be downtown with all the action. We'll have a table right in front of Bleachers Bar and Grill with some fantastic raffle baskets. DID YOU KNOW? Watkins Glen is widely celebrated as the "Birthplace of the Corvette" because a 1951 visit to the village's races inspired GM designer Harley Earl to create an American sports car. To honor this history, the annual Watkins Glen Corvette Festival was launched to celebrate both the car's legacy and its roots in the region.

Our friends Bleachers Bar and Grill do so much for our community all year long — and tomorrow is a great opportunity to give some of that support right back. ❤️

Make plans to head to Bleachers tomorrow night, grab some dinner (dine-in or takeout), and help support a fundraiser for one of their own.

From 4PM–6PM on Thursday, May 14th, 20% of ALL dine-in and takeout sales will go directly toward helping a team member in need, and additional donations will also be accepted.

We are a Village with a heart; let’s show just how much love and support we have to give. 🫶
