Am asking for your help please! Research: often, celebrities were photographed with top-end automobiles… sometimes it was their car… sometimes it wasn’t. Here we have Babe Ruth with what was acclaimed to be his V16 Cadillac. It’s a well-known photo. I’m hoping anyone reading this can answer any/all of these questions please:
~ was this, in fact, Babe Ruth’s car? (If you answer to the affirmative, what’s the source to confirm that fact?);
~ What is the chassis (VIN) and/or engine number of this car?
~ Does it survive? (Or… a recent photo, if it has been shown at any car show/concours?)
Please DM me if you prefer not to post a reply.
Thank you!
